My worst memory

I still remember the day when TCS came to our campus and recruited me along with a couple of my friends. I was very proud of myself that I could make it to TCS. I always used to doubt whether I will get a job in my life. But hopefully that day turned out to be mine. I always dreamed of joining that mighty family of Tatas who ruled the business of India.
The only question in my HR round.
Why do you want to join TCS?
My very prompt reply.
Sir, why not TCS. I always was inspired by Jamshedji Tata, who established Iron & Steel Industry in India during the British Rule in 1905. Still even after a century Tata’s empire still rules.

But my TCS dreams got shattered a while after. In my final year we had a core company named Synopsys visit our campus. If not for our Dean’s efforts we would not have got an opportunity to attend the interview. There were only two people who got selected, one being me. Me and one more friend of mine joined after a week on September 23, 2008 in Synopsys. I started getting Stipend during that period and everyone was happy for me.

Many of my friends were placed in various other companies. TCS delayed a bit in giving the date of joining and all my friends who got selected joined computer classes for learning Java, Oracle, Dotnet etc. One of my very close friends called me one day and asked for some financial help. He had to pay the fees for the course in which he joined. I promised him that I will help him and we agreed to meet near our office. But unfortunately my bank account got locked the previous day because of which I could not make any transactions and could not help him out. This is one of my worst memories. I am really very sorry ra for that. That day I was really helpless and I still feel bad for not helping you. But still you smiled at me. Proud to have a friend like you.

The Mighty Mumbai

It was another boring day at office today.I left my workplace with things incomplete, waiting eagerly for my brother's call to pick me up. As usual he didn't respond to my call and I sat back in the lobby reading a newspaper.I quickly took the TOI paper and started reading the Sports Column. I was happy for Roger, he has ended this year impressively defeating Murray and also grabbing the World's best Player for the fifth time.So amazing are his energy levels.I cursed myself for missing the Live match.I was happy for a while and then took up "India Today", the weekly magazine. It had a wailing picture of a woman as its cover page. Turning the pages I came to know what was it about, the 26/11 attacks which took place in Mumbai Last year. It has been an year since terror striked the "Mighty Mumbai". The mag gave an exclusive report about all the strikings which took place in the various parts of the city. Many of them lost their dear ones making the rest of life miserable. The NSG commandos sacrificed their lives to bring the city back to peace facing the culprits boldly for the Nation. The entire Country mourned for those
who gave their lives fighting the terrorists. It has been an year and still the culprits are at large, justice has not been done. Let us hope that this violence will not shake the Nation anymore and we become more prepared to fight back any large scaled evil-forces. Let the souls of the civilians who lost their lives rest in peace.

A glimpse of my College Life

People meet by coincidence n chance, They spend sweet times together, share sweet nothings, pain etc... Then one fine day God separates them not to end the story but to see how much they need each other....
These were the lines which I kept on saying to myself an year back when I had to leave my pals in my last year of Btech. Those four years of life at my college one can cherish them for ever. I get nostalgic remembering those days where you used to chat for long hours, gossip about people, Orkutting, Peep into someone's profile.
I still remember the day after a long while I went to college on Saturday, sat back in the last bench, hid Harry Potter under my class notes and eagerly read those last pages of the book, not bothering about the Lecture going on, everyone was pretending as if they were listening to him. (poor Sir I never was interested in listening to his RADAR class)
The community named "JaiPandu" Atleast Sushma must know for what reason she launched it , Spandy always complains saying inactive community by inactive members "Guys delete yourself".
Few things I love to remember-My first Job, Sailu's wedding, Surprise birthday Party we gave for Sujana, Giving send off to Reka, The dinner we had on Safu's Birthday Treat and I hope the list goes on..............
We friends had many things in uncommon but we all loathed someone with the greatest liking
Who said when college ends people part ways and forget each other. Well, somehow only once you are out of the college you come to know who really cares about you.
Meet you in my next blog.

Tribute to the legend

After having a heavy meal I just switched on the TV.
It started with NDTV 24*7, Star movies and got stuck up with the
Fox History and entertainment.
There was this program titled "Tribute to the Legend".
Can you imagine Who was the show about.
It was about Roger Federer, the insatiable...
And it had the greatest men of all times speaking about him.
It also spoke about his Roger Federer Foundation and the global services
being offered by it.
I remember my last Sunday watching his history making win
against Andy Roddick.
Later in the week I read an article in the newspaper suspecting him not be human.
So fabulous was his play.
Didn't know how fast the clock ticked by,
but the show ended and me back with my fingers taking action on the remote.

Wish he always keeps winning more and more Grand Slams.

Goodnight...

Music when it rains

I still remember the first time when I listened to “Bailamos-Enrique Iglesias”.With Navya and Kousy around me,earphones plugged into my ears, the breeze from the forest swaying to the rhythmic beat and the rain roaring outside- the lyrics still keep ringing in my ears.It remained to be on my favourites chart from then..
It goes on like this “To night we dance I leave my life free in your hands”.
How relaxed I feel when I hear it.
After a shopping spree evening with my friend, I bid her goodbye for the day and reached the station with the rain showering on us.I missed out the train and was waiting in the platform for the next one to pick me up.
Listening to music all through my journey reached my halt point.Amma waiting for me with an umbrella in her hand. Its tough to behave like a good girl with the rain and the vibrant music forcing you to lose the control.
Felt like embracing the rain and screaming loud…..
It seemed to me the best way to relax after a tiring day.
Wishing you all a good day ahead.
Cheers,
